Propose a Workshop

Submission deadline: 16 February 2026

Alongside the traditional oral sessions, SUM also encourages workshop proposals — collaborative formats where a small group introduces a topic and guides the room into focused discussion. It’s a space where delegates can engage in in-depth discussions and exchange experiences, ideas, and perspectives on specific topics, ongoing research projects, controversial issues, or broader subjects of interest.

Workshops typically begin with a series of short introductory lectures designed to spark meaningful dialogue among participants.

1. Download our workshop template and prepare your proposal including the following information:

  • Workshop Title

  • Organiser/s (name, surname, affiliation, email address)

  • Proposed length (1 or 2 sessions)

  • Short Description / Scope of the Workshop

  • List of speakers and introductory presentations (all speakers must be regularly registered for the conference)

  • Maximum number of participants allowed (if any)

  • Special equipment needed (if any)

2. Send your proposal by email to info@sumsymposium.it no later than 16 February 2026.
