We wish to thank all authors who submitted their papers for SUM 2022 within the official deadline of 15th February. The response to our Call for Papers was great and we received hundreds of proposals from all over the world.
If you did not make it in time and still wish to send your contribution, we can still accept further submissions.
Papers must address one of the conference topics and be prepared using the paper template provided. Papers must be submitted in MS WORD format (.docx) using the online submission form. Proposals should be submitted in the form of full papers or short papers (at least 3-4 pages).
The official language of the Symposium is English. Papers may be submitted for oral or poster presentation.
Papers will be selected following evaluation by an international panel of experts. Final destination (oral/poster) will be established according to the following criteria: request by the author, topic relevance, characteristics of the paper (highly specific, preliminary results, case study) and number of papers received on the same topic.
Acceptance of papers will be notified to the corresponding author within 15th March 2022. Authors not receiving the notification of acceptance/rejection of their paper should contact the Organising Secretariat at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that acceptance of your paper does not automatically register you in the conference. Presenting authors must register and pay their entrance fee within 15 days after receipt of the acceptance notification. Only one presenting author can be appointed for each paper. Co-authors can register paying the fee for participants.
Each speaker may deliver up to three presentations during the conference.
Authors presenting their work in an oral session will be requested to submit their PowerPoint presentations no later than 2nd May 2022, while authors scheduled for poster presentation should submit the PDF file of their posters within 10th May 2022.
All papers presented at the conference will be published in a dedicated set of Symposium proceedings. Additionally, a considerable number of leading papers will be selected for possible publication in special thematic issues on international renowned journals.
For any further information or assistance regarding the submission of papers, please contact the Organising Secretariat at email@example.com
