To encourage broad participation in the conference, organisers are offering lower registration fees for delegates from developing countries (based on the World Bank Classification).
IRACE members are entitled to a 10% discount on all fees (not cumulative with other discounts).

PAYMENT METHODS

Registration will only be deemed valid following receipt of payment for the fee due.

All fees should be paid either by:

  • bank money transfer made out to:

Please ensure that all payments made by bank transfer are NET of bank charges and commission fees. Please mark all payments "SUM 2026" and make sure that the registrant’s surname is clearly indicated as unidentified bank transfers cannot be processed.

VAT EXEMPTION

European companies/institutions registered in the internationally recognized VAT Information Exchange System (VIES) are exempt from Italian VAT on conference fees. Please verify the validity of the VAT number of your organization at this link and, if valid, tick the box of VAT exemption during the registration process.

Esenzione IVA per enti italiani
Il pagamento delle quote d’iscrizione in regime di esenzione IVA è consentito, come previsto della Legge 537/93 art.14 co.10, solo ed esclusivamente agli enti pubblici, per la partecipazione del proprio personale in carica, finalizzata all’aggiornamento e riqualificazione professionale; ai sensi dell’art. 10 del DPR 633/72
.

L'esenzione non si applica se il pagamento viene anticipato dal partecipante per conto dell'ente.

GROUP REGISTRATIONS

Groups of delegates coming from the same organisation/institution can benefit from group discounts, according to the scheme below:

  • 3/4 participants:    10%

  • 5/7 participants:    15%

  • 8/10 participants:  20%


Group discounts are not cumulative with other reductions or special fees (e.g. they do not apply to student fees).

If you wish to make a group registration, please write an email to the Organising Secretariat at info@sumsymposium.it including the names and email addresses of all delegates.


CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Presenting authors:
Entrance fee will NOT be refunded in any case, including the following:

  • if the paper is withdrawn

  • if the author cannot present the paper at the conference (the author will nevertheless be able to appoint a substitute to present his/her paper at any time at no extra cost by notifying the Organising Secretariat)


Participants:

The Organisers will reimburse registration fees already paid if written request or cancellation is submitted. Reimbursement will be as follows:

  • 70% before 13 April 2026

  • 50% before 4 May 2026

  • No refund will be possible after 4 May 2026.
